Congratulations to our youngest fundraiser Peyton Mitchell of California. She has currently raised $580.00 on her own! Her quest to help build the Statue of Responsibility and leave her legacy started in Jan 2016 when she attended the Responsibility Foundation fundraiser at Studies Weekly in Orem, UT. There, emotionally moved, she pledged her allowance of $10 and has been fundraising ever since.
She has taken to social media where she has built and posted a donation page. A day rarely passes when she uploads a video, thought, or quote about Responsibility. Sometimes this includes something she has done personally, or has seen others do. Her donor list is vast and varied. Many of the donations she has raised have come from her elementary age friends. Regardless, she talks about Responsibility in home, school, community, onstage, and everywhere. She has taken fundraising and passion to a whole new level. And did we mention she’s barely 11 years old! An upcoming singer and actress she uses her stage as a platform to promote responsibility.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to Peyton for everything she has done for the Responsibility Foundation. What a way to be a part of history! We appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
