It is with deep love and appreciation we announce that Leesa Clark Price recently resigned from the Responsibility Foundation to start a new chapter in her life.

Leesa shared that after a great deal of thought and consideration she decided it was time for her to devote her time to helping her aging father, and enjoy time with her wonderful grandkids and children. These are dreams and goals she has put on hold for years as she worked with the Responsibility Foundation. Leesa has worked hard to advance the goals of the foundation to create The Statue of Responsibility monument and movement. Her work and contributions will go down in the history of this great work. We wish her well and join in the chorus of thankful supporters who appreciate all the tireless work, energy, and passion she has given to the project for so many years.

None of us will forget the way she made us feel when talking from the stage, giving a presentation, or pinning an SOR pin on our jacket. Her dynamic personality and wonderful passion for the cause will never be forgotten. We would not be where we are today without her contributions. Thank you for everything Leesa Clark-Price!

The good news is that we will still see her beside world renowned sculptor and her husband Gary Lee Price, the artistic inspiration behind the Statue of Responsibility. She, like the rest of us, is excited to dance on top of the Statue of Responsibility structure when it is completed and fully supports the mission of the Foundation. Stay tuned for more information on how to show her your appreciation personally.

Here’s what others are saying about her contributions over the years…

“Leesa is a superstar. I celebrate her decision to make family first. Her wisdom and insights have positively impacted our community in immeasurable ways. When she shared her vision of The Statue of Responsibility I was hooked. She helped me to clearly see how this symbol will transform our culture as a nation to act responsibly, to become more self-reliant and to become more charitable. Leesa will be missed, but her contribution will live on. I will be eternally grateful that she allowed Renatus to become the Foundations first corporate sponsor. I look forward to the future of this cause and commit to be along for the journey.

Bob Snyder, CEO Renatus Corp

“I am surprised and saddened to hear about Leesa’s retirement from the Responsibility Foundation. Her impeccable work, enthusiasm and energy has been so contagious to everyone involved. She has personally motivated and influenced me. The project has made leaps and bounds since her involvement and I have no idea who will be able to fill her shoes now. Leesa will be greatly missed by all but I know that it will be impossible for her to stay uninvolved because the project has become such a part of who she is. Thank you Leesa!”

John Farr owner of Creative Media Group

She wakes up each day, determined to make the world a better place and inspires others to do the same. It’s an honor to know her. I look forward to the many great things we will still do together.”
