Bart’s career has spanned 25 years in the financial, defense and technology industries. From startups to large multi-national corporations, he’s learned how value is added in any organization. His resume includes experience as an analyst and economist with chip giant Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX and Nice, France, as well as a stint with L-3 Communications, a defense contractor focused on intelligence and reconnaissance solutions for the U.S. military. Bart founded and ran a small venture capital firm that focused on building chip and telecom startups. Co-invest and exit deals were with companies such as Intel, Cisco, Sun, Symantec and Arrow Electronics. Bart graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from BYU-Hawaii (where he first read Viktor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning), and later earned an MBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He lives outside the one stop-light metropolis of Ridgway, Colorado where in his spare time he runs a ranch and serves on the local school board. Bart is married to a former school teacher from California and together they are attempting to raise four children, along with way too many four-legged critters.
